WELLNESS

is not a destination

nor is it always a linear path

My hope is to encourage and help others to focus on their whole wellness journey (mind, body, spirit), share tools and resources to help on that journey, and build community. While everyone’s journey is different, you don’t have to do this alone.

Let’s work together

I offer several platforms and tools to help you on your whole wellness journey

Taking stock of your current wellness efforts

The whole wellness path takes focused effort, routinely caring for and nurturing your mind, body, and soul. Many activities you may already enjoy and participate in can positively affect these parts of yourself, and it’s important to make sure you spend time taking care of each.

A simple exercise to see how you you are doing with your overall wellness efforts currently (and to brainstorm where you may need to focus your efforts more) is to make a list of the activities you enjoy and / or regularly engage in that support your mind, body, and spirt. Create three columns and jot down whatever comes to your mind. Often, these activities nurture multiple parts of ourselves. You can even draw lines among the columns to show the interconnectedness. Give yourself credit for everything you do that you enjoy. Do you like spending time and laughing with your friends? Great! That is excellent for your mental wellness. Enjoy stretching or yoga? Awesome! That can be great for your body and mind. Throw in some meditation, and your soul is nurtured as well.

If any column ends up empty or insufficiently supported, it might be time to consider additional activities or efforts. You may even already know where you need to spend more time nurturing as well.

Whatever you choose to do in support of your wellness journey, be sure to practice it with intention, do it with grace, and celebrate the fact you are taking care of yourself.
